Abstract

PURPOSE: To change the speed of an output shaft in a stepless manner by interposing an intermediate bevel gear between an input bevel gear and an output bevel gear, and imparting a variable rotation to the intermediate gear.
CONSTITUTION: Bevel gears 3 and 4 for transmitting the rotation from the input side to the output side are rectangularly engaged between the input side bevel gear 1 and the output side bevel gear 2. A worm wheel 7 concurrently used as a bearing case for bevel gears 3 and 4 engaged with a worm 6 connected to a motor capable of changing freely the rotational speed. In the above described construction, by changing the rotational speed of the worm wheel 7, the rotational speed of the output shaft can be changed in a stepless manner.
