Abstract
1436491 Toothed gearing BHS-BAYERISCHE BERGHUTTEN-UND SALZWERKE AG 2 July 1974 [6 July 1973] 29234/74 Heading F2Q Contra-rotating ship's propeller shafts 6, 7 are driven from a shaft 5 through two gear trains comprising a sun gear 1<SP>1</SP> on shaft 5 meshing planet gears 2<SP>1</SP> on a carrier 3<SP>1</SP> fast with the inner output shaft 7, and a central gear 1 on shaft 5 meshing gears 2 carried by a fixed easing 3, the outer output shaft 6 being fast with a member carrying an internally toothed annulus 4<SP>1</SP> which meshes the planet gears 2<SP>1</SP> and carrying an internally toothed gear 4 which meshes the gears 2.
