A trim strip comprises a continuous wire clip with a coating 5 of, e.g. plastics material produced e.g. by dipping, and an external covering 3 of, e.g. fabric, with beads 6 of plastics, which beads may be co-moulded with the covering 3 if that, too, is of plastics material. Threads 4 of, e.g., rubber, may be stuck to or woven into the covering 3, and the covering 3 may carry a sponge rubber component for engaging the surface to be sealed.
