A bucket for a beer pump comprises a disc 1 formed with a recess 2 into which fits a valve member 4 mounted on a boss 3 of the disc. Axial movement of the valve member 4 is limited by a pin 7 or by a circlip (not shown) A sealing element 9 is provided which has an axial length approximately equal to the thickness of the disc 1.
