A multiple conduit of vitrified clay, salt glazed stoneware or like material comprises two or more spaced, parallel tubular members, e.g. 2, 3, joined together by webs 4, 5 of a length less than that of the members 2, 3, so that a portion 8 or 9 is left at the respective ends of each member 2, 3, which is not joined to the corresponding end portion 8 or 9 of an adjacent member, the portions 8, 9 receiving sleeves 10, 11 connecting aligned members of successive conduits laid in a row. The webs 4, 5 may have a thickness substantially the same as that of the members 2, 3, may be parallel, and may be made of synthetic resin, hard natural or synthetic rubber.
