Abstract

1,144,645. Moulding pipes. CELANESE BUILDING COMPONENTS Ltd. 23 June, 1966 [24 June, 1965], No. 26714/65. Heading B5A. [Also in Division F2] A moulded junction-piece comprises a foundation member provided with a main connection 2 having one or more stub limbs 3, 4 and a separately moulded limb member including a connection secured to each limb. The foundation member is moulded about four cores 8, 9, 10a, 10b so shaped that they can be easily removed from the moulded member, cores 8 and 9 along straight paths and cores 10a, 10b along curved paths. The limb members (Figs. 2, 3, 4, not shown) are moulded about cores which can be withdrawn therefrom in straight lines. The junction-piece is preferably made from rigid polyvinyl chloride.
