Abstract
1,139,382. Conduits. OY NOKIA A.B. 7 March, 1967 [7 March, 1966], No. 10716/67. Heading H2C. Transversely corrugated covering elements for underground cables are made of a plastics material such as hard P.V.C. The corrugations may be castellated, sinusoidal, chevroned or semi-circular (Figs. 2, 3, 4 and 5 not shown). Apertures 1, 2 may be provided to allow water to pass through each element which is arch-shaped and may have a transverse crosssection in the shape of an arc of more than 180 degrees. The elements may be brightly coloured and more than one layer of them may be used.
