961,853. Textile double twist spindles. BARMER MASCHINENFABRIK A. G. March 30, 1961 [May 13, 1960], No. 11723/61. Heading D1D. In a textile double-twist device a series of guide pins 11 of sintered metal or ceramic material (e.g. sintered corundum) is located between the thread storage disc 6 and an extension 16 of the wharve 7, the series of pins being located in a thread guide groove 14 level with the thread outlet. The pins may be fixed or removable and may have thread guide grooves therein; they may also be turnable in an adjustable manner. The bores in which the pins are mounted may be arranged in a plurality of circles so that the pins may be shifted from one circle to another to vary the size of the storage zone.
