Abstract

960,045. Inductors. SIEMENS & HALSKE A.G. June 19, 1962 [June 19, 1961], No. 23640/62. Heading H1T. A miniature coil wound on former 6 is embraced by ferrite frame 3 which has recesses on opposite sides to accommodate uniform insulating spacer 6a around ferrite core 7, the holder or the frame being mounted on insulating plate 5 through which connecting wires pass and to which is secured a screening can 10 (Fig. 3, not shown). The space 6a may be a tubular extension of the coil holder 6, a layer of varnish or a foil of insulating material. At least one resistor or condenser may be included within the screening can to make a composite electrical unit such as a filter. Ferrite core 7 may be threaded and capable of movement along the axis of the coil holder.
