Abstract

1,268,107. Transformers. W. RUPPERT. 13 Oct., 1969 [3 April, 1969], No. 44132/69. Heading H1T. A high frequency or heavy current transformer comprises a cylindrical former 10 on which strip conductors 11, 12 are wound and embedded by pressure or heat and pressure. The former is made of fabric, hard fibres and a polyester or epoxy resin. The strip conductors may be varnished, and cooling passages 16 incorporated in the former. A transformer yoke (17A), Fig. 3 (not shown), may be arranged to carry coil formers (10a, 10b).
