959,780. Suspender belts. M. HALSTEAD. Sept. 21; 1960 [Sept. 28, 1959], No. 32433/60. Heading A3V. A suspender belt is formed from three or more generally triangular pieces 15 overlapped and attached together at the waist either to an elestic band 10 or to each other if the edges are already elasticated. Darts 20 are formed in each piece 15 by making a vertical slit and overlapping and stitching the edges forming a pocket for a stiffener if necessary. Alternatively each piece may be eased into the waistband. Suspenders 16 are provided and the garment is fastened by press studs 11 or buttons, ties, hook and eye fasteners or by "Velcro Tape" (Registered Trade Mark).
