[Also in Division E2] An adjustable shelf for displaying shoes comprises a U-shaped frame 1 bent up from rod or tube, each leg 2 of the frame being pivoted at 4 to supporting brackets 5, provided with hooks 6 for detachable engagement in slots in vertical supports, and having a pin 7 for selective engagement in one of a number of apertures 8 in each bracket. The brackets are pressed outwardly after removal from the supports, to release the pins for adjustment of the shelf. A transverse rod 9 is slidably mounted on the upper surface of the legs 2 by spring clips 10 for manual adjustment to support or abut the heels of slippers or shoes, the soles of the shoes being supported by fixed transverse rods 12 secured by welding to the undersides of the legs 2.
