Abstract
954,782. Hydraulic transmission of power. BOEHRINGER G.m.b.H. GEB. March 27, 1963 [April 4, 1962], No. 12113/63. Heading F2C. A fluid drive comprising a rotary vanetype pump A and motor B units having a common stationary mainshaft 9 with internal intake and delivery passages 10, 11 connecting the two units, substantially radial tubes 13, 14 being rigid with the main shaft 9 and leading to pressure connections 18 or intake valves 15, the tubes being in resilient sealing relation with chambers 16, 20 for the pressure connections 18 and intake valves 15. The rotary vane units comprise drums 2, rotatably mounted in a housing 1, rigid with input and output shafts 4; the drums being provided with radially sliding vanes 5 rotatable in an eccentrically adjustable housing 6. The tubes 13, 14 are sealed to the chambers 16 in the housing 1 or the inlet valves 20 by ring gaskets 19 to seal and support the tubes without restriction on their freedom. The tubes themselves may also be resilient. Specification 680,268 is referred to.
