[Also in Divisions H4 and H5] A high-frequency inductive heater (see Divisions H4 and H5) includes a hybrid junction of the type described in I.R.E. Convention Record Vol. IV, Part 1, pages 171-179, which comprises a U-shaped tubular conductor 50 mounted in a cavity 51 of rectangular cross-section, a U shaped inner conductor 52 passing through gaps m and n in the conductor 50 and four coaxial terminals I, II, S and P. The outer conductors of the terminals are continuous with the walls of the cavity 51, the inner conductors of terminals I, II and P are continuous with the conductor 50 and the inner conductor of terminal S is continuous with the inner conductor 52. Specification 833,245 is referred to.
