Abstract
PURPOSE:To make easy for matching and to make small the size of ground conductor even with thick dielectric plate, by obtaining the matching element with high Q, by inserting the major part of matching element on the axis not causing electric field. CONSTITUTION:Since no electric field is caused on the axis orthogonal to the direction tying the center of the disc type radiation element 1 and the power feeding point 7 of the power feeding element 5, the major part of the matching element 10 is inserted on this axis to reduce the effect of the element 1 on the inner electric field of antenna, and the element 10 is made to triplate construction, being clipped with the radiation element 1 and the ground conductor 3 to obtain the matching element of high Q. Further, the current given to the input terminal 4 from this element flows to the element 1 through the element 10 and the power feeding element 5, and a part of current flows to the conductor 3 via the electromagnetic coupling between the element 10 and the conductor 3 to be summed with substantial ground current, allowing to suppress the unbalance current on the conductor 3 through suitable selection of the element 10. Thus, the matching can be made easy even with thick dielectric substance plate and the ground conductor can be made small in size.
