Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable small size even with the use of thin dielectric substance of high dielectric constant, by parallelly locating the matching element electromagnetically coupled with the ground plate with the power feeding element between the antenna elements and the grounding plate. CONSTITUTION:The current fed to the input terminal 1 flows to the antenna element 5 through the matching element 7 and the power feeding element 3, and a part of current flows to the grounding plate 2 electromagnetically coupled with the matching element 7. Further, the substantial ground current flows to the grounding plate 2 from the terminal 1 and is summed with the current flowed through the electromagnetic coupling. Accordingly, when the matching element 7 is suitably selected, since the unbalanced current on the grounding plate can somewhat be suppressed, the size of the grounding plate 2 can be reduced. Thus, even if the dielectric substance 4 thin and high dielectric constant is used, the broadband microstrip can be made small in size.
