[Also in Division B1] In a transportable concrete mixer the wheels 6 may be moved from a travelling position to a mixing position to give greater stability and better access to the mixing drum 5. As shown, the wheels are mounted on stub axles 15, 19 connected by vertical pivots 20 to half-axles 7 pivoted about a vertical pin 10 passing through the chassis centre beam 1. When the wheels are moved from the travelling to the mixing position. They are maintained parallel to the direction of travel, with reduction of gauge, by track rods 21, the inner ends of which are pivoted to each other and to the beam 1. The wheels are located in the travelling position by pins 11 passing through eyes 12 attached to the beam 1, and in the mixing position by the stops 14.
