948,895. Thermal switches. STEVENS MANUFACTURING CO. Inc. Sept. 19, 1962 [Sept. 20, 1961], No. 35697/62. Heading H2B. The bi-metal strip 17 of a thermostatic switch as described in Specification 903,318, has a U-shaped narrow portion 26 which tends to close as the strip is heated, imparting a wiping action to the moving contact 22 and increasing the deflection thereof.
