An industrial truck has a castor unit 11 mounted on links 30, 31 pivoted to the truck frame 29 to permit lateral movement of the castoring axis, as the wheel changes direction, in order to minimise scuffing of the tyres on the floor In a modification Fig. 4a permitting universal lateral movement of the castor axis the truck frame 30a is suspended from a plate 24a, carrying the castor, by four links 29a pivotallysecured at their upper and lower ends by ball and socket type universal joints.
