Abstract

1,063,831. Castors. BRITISH CASTORS Ltd. April 10, 1964 [Jan. 10, 1963], No. 1161/63. Heading A4U. A castor has sockets (10, 11) welded together with their longitudinal axes spaced apart and inclined at an acute angle to one another, which receive spindles (12, 14) of which the one spindle (12) is attached to a wheel (13) and the other spindle (14) has means for attachment to an article such as a hospital trolley. The spindles are held by circlips or set screws and the wheel may have a rubber tyre.
