A fastener for bonnets and lockers of automobiles, of the type described in Specification 820,551 in which a retaining lock (not shown) is operated by links 17 controlled by a hand lever 15, may be locked by a bolt 21 engageable behind one of the links 17. The bolt is actuated by a key-operated barrel lock 25 enclosed in a case 22 which is secured on the extended pivot pin B by a pin 24, and located by a shoulder 26 which enters an opening 27 in the fastener support 7.
