Abstract
945,275. Microphones. AKUSTISCHE UND KINO-GERATE G.m.b.H. March 30, 1962 [July 28, 1961], No. 12462/62. Heading H4J. In a microphone assembly comprising a microphone capsule 12 and an associated electrical lead 6, the latter is stored within a hollow handle 11 encasing the assembly. As shown, lead 6 is coiled round a projection 14 carried by a base plate 10, the handle 11 being removable from plate 10 when lug 21 on a spring strip 18 is released from its co-operating aperture 22 by depression of limb 20. The lead can then be removed to facilitate connection of the microphone to an amplifier or alternatively plug 7 may be inserted directly into a socket located in a stand for the instrument.
