246,630. Calamatianos, S. Dec. 10, 1924. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Magnetic instruments. - An electromagnetic sound reproducer consists of a horseshoe magnet 3, pole pieces 5 with coils 6, a plate 7 supported over the pole pieces and provided with two pins H, an armature 9 with dents fitting over the pins H and extended to contact with the centre of the diaphragm 10 and a spring I mounted on a support on the pole pieces pressing the armature 9 towards the pole tips. The magnet is fastened to an adjusting knob 2 screwing into the easing 1 and this knob 2 is rotated until the point of the armature presses against the diaphragm and the other end of the armature is raised slightly from the pole tips against the spring I.
