945,134. Hydraulic couplings; swash-plate mechanisms. KOPAT GES. FUR KONSTRUKTION ENTWICKLUNG UND PATENTVERWERTUNG. Nov. 9, 1962, No. 42432/62. Headings F2C and F2K. In a device permitting pivotal movement perpendicular to the axes of concentric sliding members, comprising opposed grooves decreasing in width with depth and engaged by radially adjustable members, the pivotal movement is effected by relative longitudinal movement of the sliding members. In a hydrostatic torque converter having an axial piston motor 2 the stroke of which is adjusted by pivotal movement of a pivoting member 1 about an axis 5 in a rotary housing 3, the movement of the member 1 is controlled by axial movement of a cylindrical control member 12 carrying guide parts 11 formed with guide slots 9. The guide slots 9 are formed with a part-circular crosssection, relieved at the base of the slot, engaged by balls 7 in adjustable bronze seats 8 screwed into arms 6 rigid with the member 1.
