A racking frame has at least two pairs of channel shaped columns 10 with rectangular slots 11 in the side flanges and holes 31 in the connecting web, the holes 31 being used for fixing cross stays such as 32, 33, 44 with nuts and bolts. Horizontally extending support members 15 of triangular section have a plate 16 welded at each end, the plates having hooks 17, lugs 18 and a releasable latch pivoted at 20 which engage the slots 11 in the columns 10.
