888,613. Storage racks for casks &c. LAMBHILL ENGINEERING Ltd. Feb. 12, 1960 [Feb. 14, 1959 ; March 19, 1959], Nos. 5224/59 and 9507/59. Class 21. A storage rack for casks comprises vertical angle members 1, 2, 3, interconnected by horizontal angle ties 4, 5, 6 which are bolted to the vertical members, and by pairs of longitudinal horizontal steel angle section rails 7 and 8 which are supported on the upright members by brackets 14, 15. Each pair of rails consists of a pair of runners 16 which are sloped at 6 degrees to the horizontal to support a horizontally disposed barrel F, and a pair of vertical flanges 17 which prevent lateral displacement of the barrel. The rack may be built in single or double widths and may be stepped as in Fig. 1 to conform with the shape of the warehouse.
