943,751. Camera lens mounts. M. C. SCHEIDER. Feb. 7, 1961 [Feb. 16, 1960], No. 4508/61. Headings G2A and G2J. A camera objective mount has a knob which can be used for varying the object distance of the objective and for fixing an accessory lens in front of the mount. As shown, objection front focusing component a in a mount 2 is screw threadedly received in a lens tube 1 which is secured to an objective housing 8 by screws 9. The mount 2 is coupled through a lever 6 and a pin 11 in a rotatable ring 12 to a focusing knob 10 which is secured to the ring 12 and is provided with an index for co-operation with a distance scale on the housing 8 (Fig.2,not shown). The ring 12 carries the female part of a bayonet connection so that, when fitting an accessory lens such as 14 the act of rotating the knob 10 to lock the bayonet connection 12,13 ensures setting of the objective to a predetermined position, e.g. the infinity setting. Accessory lens 14 is provided with its own focusing ring 15 and scale 15a.
