Abstract
1,077,568. Photographic exposure control apparatus; cameras. N.F. SEROV, L.E. KORCHNOI, V.F. MARTAKOV, I.N. KERSEK, A.I. TRACKUN, G.A. DROBOTKO, M.Y. KAPLAN and K. L. SHAKHNOVSKY. Nov. 2, 1965, No.46458/65. Heading G2A. In an automatic diaphragm setting device for cameras, a galvanometer 17 responsive to light intensity has indicating pointers 16, 20, and lever indicators 22, 23, coaxial with the pointers, each indicator having one end portion in the field of view of the camera finder and the other end portion connected to stops 24, 25 adjustable in accordance with film sensitivity, exposure time and rapidity of the lens 35. Stops 24, 25 are mounted on a movable arrester 26 for the galvanometer pointers which is so connected to the shutter release button that the shutter may only be released when the pointers lie between the indicators 22, 23. The galvanometer pointers are connected with the spring-loaded diaphragm setting ring 2 through a follow-up lever train with a weak intermediate locking spring 9, the train being disconnected by rotation of camming ring 39 through handle 36 for manual diaphragm setting. The galvanometer is rotated by gear 18 to allow for film sensitivity, indicators 22, 23 and stops 24, 25 being turned at the same time. Interchangeable lenses have recesses 34 of a depth corresponding to the lens rapidity which are engaged by a spring- loaded lever 32 for the adjustment of indicator 23.
