862,083. Photographic cameras. KODAK Ltd. May 7, 1959 [May 17, 1958], No. 15640/59. Class 98(1) A photographic camera has an exposure meter the follow up pointer of which is controlled by a cam which also controls the exposure setting means in known manner; said cam, or a part movable with it, having indicating means which are visible when the follow up pointer reaches a predetermined position at either end of the exposure meter scale. As shown, the follow up pointer 3 is movable relative to the exposure meter pointer 5 by means of cam 2 rotatable together with a plate 9 about a point 1. The plate 9 carries coloured or luminous indicating marks 6, 7; 6 being visible through window 8a in the camera where the pointer is in the position shown and 7 being visible through window 8b when the pointer is at the other end of the range. The windows may carry index marks corresponding to the ends of the exposure meter range and the cam surface 2a may be shaped so that it no longer controls the follow up pointer when the latter is at either end of said range.
