A brushing attachment for a lawn mower comprises a cylindrical brush b mounted on a spindle c supported in bearings d attached to a framework e by fulcrum pins f. A tension spring p is fastened to each bearing and is hooked on to the mower to bring drive wheels g carried by the spindle c into driving engagement with the mower. The height of the brush is adjusted by means of a track wheel l attached to the framework.
