Class 79(3) A self propelled combine harvester threshing machine &c. has its engine 6 Fig. 2 mounted between the frame members 3 in the vicinity of the driver wheels 4 and arranged so that it can be fitted from below the chassis as by lugs 9, 10 which are bolted under cross members 7, 8. The engine may be raised and lowered into position by ropes 15 (not shown) attached to lugs 16 and wound over a shaft in the drive mechanism for the threshing trough. The drive for propelling the machine or operating the combine harvester is taken from rope pulleys 11.
