An attachment for securing an assemblage to an aperture in a wall comprises a wall 12 on which rests a gasket 16 which supports a flange 15 of the assemblage the flange being clamped by a ring 23 which engages under projections 22 formed in a flanged portion 18. The ring 23 is provided with ratchet teeth which engage ratchet teeth in the flange 15. The ring 23 is formed with depressions to allow the ring to pass the projections 22 when it is placed in position.
