938,266. Photographic flash-light apparatus. FRANKE & HEIDECKE G.m.b.H., [trading as ROLLEI-WERKE FRANKE & HEIDECKE]. Oct. 17, 1960 [Dec. 23, 1959], No. 35483/60. Class 9 (2). A flash-light device comprises two housing halves 1, 2 provided with reflector portions 6, 7 in the front wall halves 4, 5, respectively, and a magazine 9 with recesses 15 each shaped to form the apex of the reflector. In each recess 15 is provided a mounting on the base portion 16 for a lamp 13 and the magazine 9 enters the housing through a circular opening 8 to be pushed on to a pivot pin 10. A spring 25 is tensioned on fitting the magazine and a projection (not shown) at its rear is made to pass through a slot 23 in a disc 22 so that on rotation of the magazine from the initial position the latter is held in position. Detents on the disc 22 cause the magazine to snap into positions which align the recesses 15 with reflector portions 6, 7 and after one complete revolution, the magazine is ejected by the spring 25. When assembled the outer end of the magazine, which is provided with a cavity 18 and rib 19 to enable the magazine to be manually rotated, lies flush with side wall 12 of the housing.
