935,461. Liquid dispensing apparatus. S. D. HILL. Sept. 15, 1961 [Oct. 18, 1960], No. 35649/60. Class 102(1). A pump has a body 1 with a delivery spout 8 and a finger-grip 2 extending therefrom ; a second grip 16 is pivoted to the fingergrip 2. A spring 27 urges the grips apart and a tubular piston rod 11 is connected to a forked end 19 of the grip 16. A flexible',. hose to a liquid container is connected to a nipple 26. The position of a sleeve 30 relative axially to the body 1 determines the piston stroke. An alternative form of nozzle is bent through 30 degrees and carries a cap on a bracket. The cap is placed over the pruned end of a plant stem and the nozzle is thereby directed towards the side of the stem.
