934,434. Conductors for dynamo-electric machines. ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. Dec. 1, 1959 [Dec. 1, 1958], No. 38655/58. Class 35. A conductor assembly comprising Roebel transposed conductors surrounding a stack of insulated cooling tubes is constructed in two halves 10, 11 by cranking the individual conductors at the appropriate points, assembling them around a temporary spacer with a bondimpervious layer separating the halves, bonding the conductors together with a bonding agent in a heated press, separating the two halves and reassembling them about the cooling ducts, and finally bonding the halves and ducts together. Before the final assembly an additional shaping operation may be performed.
