933,392. Garden tools. F. R. FELLING- HAM. April 3, 1962, No. 12314/60. Class 6(2). [Also in Group XXIII] An adjustable holder for garden tools comprises a handle having a screw threaded end 1, a screw threaded socket 5 for receiving said end, the socket being pivotally mounted between two rectangular limbs of a channel piece 6, an elongated member 8 to which the channel piece is secured, apertures in the elongated member for the passage of bolts 9 for connecting the holder to the tool and a washer 3 and lock nut 2 mounted on the screw threaded end of the handle, the arrangement being such that the washer may be clamped against any selected one of three exposed sides of each limb, by a bolt 7 which passes through the channel piece 6, socket 5 and threaded end 1, to provide three adjustments of the tool. A D-type handle may be secured by screw means to the remote end of the handle 1. Rakes, forks, hoes, a combined rake and drifter, a turf cutter and a spade for attachment to the handle are shown in the drawings.
