Abstract

An oxidation-resistant alloy has a percentage composition within either of the following ranges:- .(a).(b).. .W.75 -95.W.42 -65 .Nb.4.8-24.8.Nb.17.5-42.5 .Ti.0.2-12.5.Ti.7.5-27.5 The alloy may be made by powder metallurgy or arc melting After melting the alloy may be homogenized at 1750-2200 DEG C. for 1/2 -4 hours.
