Abstract

932,699. Suspended ceilings. L. TIBBY. Jan. 19, 1961 [May 13, 1960], No. 16900/60. Class 20 (4). A substantially T-shaped rail 16 of a suspended ceiling is supported from a main member by a C-shaped stirrup 10 adapted to receive the horizontal part 18 of the T-shaped rail, and an approximately Z-shaped strap 12 the lower horizontal part of which engages the C-shaped stirrup and is laterally displaceable therein, and the upper horizontal part of which engages the upper surface of the main member. The T- shaped rail is formed to have panels 17 clipped within them. In Fig. 6, the T-shaped member is defined by the upper parts of two oppositely directed channel members 21.
