Abstract

1409813 Suspended ceilings P P A DUPONT 10 Nov 1972 [12 Nov 1971] 52062/ 72 Heading E1W Elongate undercut channel section ceiling panels 1 are fixed in a false ceiling by the engagement of e.g. truncated pyramidal elements 2 in the undercut section of the panels and by the clipping of these elements in spaced apertures 6 in the web of an undercut channel section framing member. The framing members are such as to able to be inclined to the lines of panels at differing angles to uniformly adjust the spacing between the panels so as to suit ceilings which are not rectangular. The elements 3 may also be fixed in the mouth of the channel 3 when it is positioned to face downwardly so that the spacing between the panels non uniformly adjustable, see Fig 4 (not shown).
