A combined cycle gas-turbine and steamturbine plant comprises a compressor 1 supplying air to a boiler 2 generating steam for use in a steam-turbine, combustion products from the boiler passing through a gas-turbine 4, a reheater 9 and another gas-turbine 10, the reheater 9 being fed with hot gases from a second reheater 9<SP>1</SP>, the compressor also supplying air through a heater 19 and an auxiliary turbine 17 to the second reheater 9<SP>1</SP>. The heater 19 may be a combustion chamber or be heated by the gases from the boiler 2.
