[Also in Group XIV] A resilient cushion has identical upper and lower surface portions 16 of polyurethane or other plastics foam having a relatively weak load bearing strength and a core portion 18 of plastics foam stronger in load-bearing capacity, a flange 20 being moulded in portions 16 and then skived off to expose virgin foam before adhesive is applied to the parts 16 to secure them together.
