Abstract
880,344. Electrodialytic cells. PERMUTIT CO. Ltd. June 2, 1959 [June 19, 1958], No. 19692/58. Addition to 877,239. Class 41. A multi-compartment electrodialytic cell in which the compartments are separated by ionselective membranes has fibrous mats of ionexchange resin in some or all of the compartments. The mats may comprise fibres of one kind of selectivity only, or of both kinds, and may have the same linear dimensions as the compartments and may be compressed when the cell is tightened up on assembling. Specification 858,137 also is referred to.
