Abstract

Class 79(3) [Also in Group XXXII] The substantially vertical hollow pivot tube 20, Fig. 9, for a single support arm 11 for an outwardly swingable motor vehicle door (see Group XXXII) passes through and is secured by a cone 59 in a longitudinal bearer 12 of the vehicle. and serves as a cylinder of a hydraulic jacking or supporting device. The cylinder is connected to a pressure-oil pipe 57 and houses a piston 58 shown also in a partly projected position 59, in broken lines. A sleeve 48, Fig. 7, also passing through the bearer 12 for supporting one end of a control lever 39 for the door 10, serves to receive a foot 49 for supporting the vehicle, or a jack.
