Abstract
926,863. Welding by fusion; brazing. A. G. JACOBS. Dec. 20, 1961 [July 11, 1961], No. 25113/61. Class 83 (4). In a process of welding, brazing or coating in which heat is generated by passing current through a carbon electrode in series and in contact with the work, filler rod wire or tape is fed through a hole in or down the surface of the carbon electrode to fuse and flow on to the work. Flux may be applied to the work or form part of the filler rod wire or tape. The electrode may be a copper-coated carbon rod with an axial hole.
