925,342. Rotary-scythe mowers. A. SCHEFENACKER, [trading as REITTER & SCHEFENACKER]. Sept. 25, 1961 [Sept. 28, 1960], No. 34180/61. Class 6(3). A rotary-scythe mower comprises a motor 3 and a rotary knife 4b arranged, as a single unit behind a single large wheel 1, of greater height than the unit, the frame 8 of the machine being vertically adjustable in a slot 7 at the rear end of the wheel-fork 2. A handle 5 is pivoted to a standard 5c upstanding from the frame 8. The knife is surrounded at the rear by guard 4 and is surmounted by a conical cover 4a. A slip-, or centrifugal-type clutch may be incorporated in the drive to the knife.
