Abstract

A device for the dressing of lawns comprises a cutter bar which can be mounted on a grass mower with a vertical motor shaft and is provided at its ends with thatch-removing blades 16. The thatch-removing blades are held thereon, by means of forces resulting from the rotation of the support or cutter bar, in an operative position from which they can be swivelled into an alternative position on encountering an obstacle. The swivelling of the implements into the operative position may be brought about by fan blades 19 arranged on the implements and the fan blades may be formed as ejectors for the material cut or raked from the grass. Alternatively, the swivelling of the implement into the operative position may be brought about by centrifugal means, or by a combination of fan blades 20 and centrifugal means 26. <IMAGE>
