924,778. Cooling dynamo-electric machines. SIEMENS-SCHUCKERTWERKE A.G. Feb. 22, 1962 [Feb. 24, 1961], No. 7025/62. Class 35. In an electrical machine in which cooling channels 4, 5 are formed through the conductor bars, for passage of a gaseous cooling medium, the ends 3 of two bars towards which the cooling medium flows are joined, and are provided with a cap 7 which reverses the cooling medium flow over the join. As described, the two bars are an upper bar in one slot, and a lower bar in another, and are spaced from the cap 7 by U-shaped insulators 9 secured by adhesive. The cap 7 itself is secured by straps 7a which are bound on to the conductors.
