924,221. Fluid-pressure servomotor control systems. BOULTON PAUL AIRCRAFT Ltd. Jan. 30, 1961 [Jan. 28, 1960], No. 3147/60. Class 135. Deflection of a member 17 is indicated by a fluid pressure gauge 1 through means consisting of a chamber 5 connected through a restriction 7 to a source of pressure fluid and having a vent 9 controlled by a plunger 11 between which and the member 17 is a spring 13. Any deflection of the member 17 causes the plunger 11 to adjust the vent to vary the pressure in the chamber 5 until the pressure and the spring force are in balance. The apparatus may be used to give a remote indication of the setting of discharge valve in an oil tanker.
