923,711. Photographic material. AGFA A.G. Nov. 10, 1960 [Nov. 10, 1959], No. 38665/60. Class 98 (2). Photographic material for the production of images corrected for tone value comprises a transparent support coated on one side with a silver halide emulsion layer for recording the normal tone values and on the other side with a silver halide masking layer, wherein one of the silver halide layers and also the other silver halide layer and/or the support is dyed with an antihalation dyestuff which can be removed during processing and which absorbs the actinically active dispersed light for which at least one of the layers is sensitive, the support and the silver halide layer for the normal tones being capable of transmitting light for which the masking layer is sensitive. The material is exposed with the silver halide layer for the normal tones facing the object to be reproduced. In the examples, a support is coated on one side with a silver halide emulsion dyed with pan gelb pina or tartrazine, and on the other side with a masking layer sensitized to green light and dyed with Acilanorange.
