Abstract
922,792. Frameless boats. A. BRUMMER July 24, 1959 [July 26, 1958], No. 25476/59. Class 113. The hull of a frameless boat is constructed by joining the top part 1 to the bottom part 2 by e.g. rivetting along the flanges at 14 and by glueing the surfaces 9 and 11 together. When the two parts are joined, buoyancy compartments 16 and 17 are formed which may be filled with a foam material. The bottom part 2 is stiffened by ribs 13 and the flanges 14 support a rubbing strake 15. An outboard motor may be attached to the support 28 and the rail 20 forms an attachment for a sliding hood over the cabin 3. The back supporting bar 29 may be removed and the boat may be transported on a motor car or trailer. The boat is also provided with lights 25, 26 and 27, windscreen 22, hook 24 and steering wheel 21.
